Whether you are a major leaguer or a little leaguer, don't over-look the importance of safety eye wear.

Every year, hundreds of men, women and children sustain eye injury while playing their favorite sport.

When looking for "safety eye wear" consider the frame material and lens material.

A "one-piece" plastic sport frame is a great option.   If you need your Rx inserted, ask for "deep grooved" eye wires, so the lens does not fall out of the frame on impact.

Polycarbonate lenses are very protective & a good choice.

Oakley was created for world-class athletes and has created a "high-definition" polycarbonate material that is much more optically enhanced than typical polycarbonate.

Vision can be just as important to our athletic ability as strength & training.

Vision is more than just the ability to see 20/20.   Vision also entails eye-tracking, the ability to change the ocular focus from distance to near quickly, and eye alignment which affects depth perception.

Comprehensive eye examination can identify visual problems and provide a solution.

Additionally, we can utilize sports tints on glasses to improve contrast sensitivity.
